WMO Applauds Satar Dada and His Family…

Satar Dada is one of the tallest pillars of WMO. His generosity remains unparalleled, as do his leadership qualities which came to the fore when he helmed the organization as the WMO President for several years.

The University of Botswana (UB) received a donation of 467 electronic mobile devices for students with disabilities from UB Foundation and Motor Centre Botswana on Friday.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Satar Dada (UB Foundation Board Chairperson) informed the gathering that these specialized assistive devices including 462 mobile devices, tablets and five specialized laptops for students with disabilities would support and facilitate their learning at the university.

“Since the COVID-19 outbreak, learning has been disrupted and these devices will curtail the spread of the pandemic since there is no need for students to be physically present on the campus as lessons can be conducted online,” concluded Mr. Dada.WMO applauds Satar Dada and his family for being innovative and finding unique solutions to the brand new problems and challenges ushered by this pandemic.

Thank you Sir, for your generosity, your leadership, your compassion. At times when the World needs healing, your compassion leads the way.
